Background
Stéphane joined TCV as an Executive Advisor in 2021, after three decades of scaling consumer and B2B businesses. Most recently, Stéphane was chief operating officer of King Digital Entertainment, maker of Candy Crush Saga. During his tenure, King significantly grew bookings, went from 100 to 2,400 employees, and did a $7 billion IPO before being acquired by Activision Blizzard. Prior to joining King, Stéphane served as Tideway Ltd. CFO, a data center management company acquired by BMC Software, Inc., and was the co-founder and CEO of Digital Reserve, a defunct P2P payments business. He has also served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of enba plc, held product and sales roles at Bureau van Dijk Electronic Publishing, and was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, Inc.
Interests
Stéphane enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, hiking, and skiing. Along with his wife Frédérique, Stéphane serves as a trustee of the Kurgan van Hentenryk Trust, which funds educational causes.

Stéphane holds a B.A. in Economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, a Diploma in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University SAIS School and an M.B.A. from INSEAD.
